A New Vibe.

Our cabin has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Jimmy and I agreed that our guest room and guest bathroom can be designed, arranged, and decorated as I saw fit. Sometimes it can be really hard living in a log cabin, because a lot of modern, industrial, farmhouse, or even rustic decor does not match a log cabin. It can depend on the style and wood of your cabin. Point made that you definitely have a slimmer selection of options. I am a fan of boho decor and design. I decided to start working on letting boho decor take over our guest room and bathroom. It’s a work in progress, but I am a fan of the look thus far.

Also, the other crazy thing about bohemian decor is that this style has a wide variety just like any other decor. You can do boho chic, boho vintage, boho rustic, industrial boho, country boho, or eclectic boho. The vibe I have present is more along the lines of boho chic and vintage. It keeps the room calm and easy going. The other fun thing about going with bohemian decor or design is that they can easily change or mix-and-match with other pieces.

A few of my favorite things about this room is that the dresser is an antique (belonged to my mother). I have two super cute photos of Jimmy and I when we were around the same age.The painting with the hydrangeas and mason jars gives the southern feel that the room needs. My MawMaw (grandmother) made the sweet owl pillow on the bed. The room itself holds onto its cabin feel, yet has the soft, peaceful, bohemian vibe. A pretty kitty always helps too.
